This figure has been unphased for some while. This year Roundalab took the decision to add it to the Phase III Waltz Manual for a one year trial period. A very brief explanation is: The lead steps are two waltz boxes while the partner does a half box, a forward step, a full right face turn under combined lead hands and an end of box. For our cuers a more detailed explanation of this figure, as prepared and demonstrated by Teresa & Paul Hart, can be found in the Members Only section of the website. A few examples of choreography which include the Interrupted Box are phase II - Peace in the Valley and at phase III - Feed the Birds and When Can I Hold You Again. |
